Lifestyle; my leaving do 🍾👋🏽

Oh my god I’ve said it a million times now but I honestly had the best night ever! I swear I made the best friends at work. After working there for almost 9 years it was hard to say goodbye to some people 😩 


So so grateful for everyone organising me a fab leaving do too.

We went to prezzo. I was told to be a few minutes late too… Which was so worth it. The effort they went to decorating the table & making it look pretty for me 😍 I had a balloon & a massive bouquet of flowers on the table. Not to mention bags of presents & bottles of prosecco.

One of my colleagues bought some wind up animals, put plasters & bandages on them & a little note asking for me to help them… because they’re injured. That might give away a clue as to what my new job is 😜

We were going to go somewhere else after for some drinks but I think I peaked early… 🙄 haha! My food was delicious, as always! And we made our way through plenty of prosecco & cocktails. I don’t think I’ve laughed so much in a long time. Thankyou to everyone again for all chipping in & paying for me as well.

Lifestyle; my birthday! 🎂🎉

Oh my goodness, I’m 27… Bloody hell. I am starting to feel it though now.

So my little man really spoilt me. He got me sooo much… I mean who would have thought a kitten could afford & know how to order all this stuff 🙄😂 

Sam made me breakfast & we went off to the coast as it was a glorious day. We had a good walk & went round the amusements. I totally beat him at bowling too 💁🏽 we got some yummy doughnuts & treats & a hot chocolate too.

I then finished off my cake & if I say so myself, for a first try I think I did pretty well. Right?! 🍰 I got the topper & the candles from Amazon incase anyone wants to know.

Going back to the gifts I got. I was well & truly spoiled rotten. So many bath bombs, candles & smelly’s! Exactly what I wanted. Plus a fair few bottles of drink, including some yummy unicorn gin which didn’t even last 5 days 😂 I had a lovely bunch of flowers & some new lunch boxes as well. Sam also got me some nice adidas trainers.

My mum & nephew then came round for a Chinese for tea.. And to taste the cake I made.Which, might I add, went down very well 💁🏽  Sam’s mum & dad then joined us for a drink too.

Lifestyle; girls trip to Manchester 🍸🍰

Before I get in to this post I would like to thank Alice for making me laugh & constantly smile for two days straight!! Also… For putting up with all my moods 😂 especially when I was hangry! 

We had a fab few days away for a little girly break! We went to Manchester as we wanted to go to friendsfest. If you have never been you really should it was so much fun! We started the break the right way with a few drinks on the train… I’m such a lightweight I was yawning away after a couple 😂 honestly though I needed it.

The hotel was fabulous for the price! We paid £68 each for two nights. To me that’s a bargain. It was in the centre & just look at how funky it was!! The bed was comfy (actually had the best night sleep I’ve had in ages) & we even had breakfast included. We were literally in a croissant coma… Oops! 


I don’t want to go to into what happened at friendsfest as I’ll do that in another post. But we had the best day ever! My cheeks hurt from smiling so much. If you’re a friends fan I would highly recommend it. Could we be any happier?! 

We ate out that evening & had a few drinks too 🍸 we went to the slug & lettuce, drank a few pornstar martinis between the two of us… 🙄 & had some food too obviously! Ha! When we got back to the hotel we put on Celebs go dating & had like a big girly sleepover with another couple of drinks & lots of nibbles while we were tucked up in our beds 😂 we’re either big kids or old ladies! 

On our last day it was bucketing it down, but we walked so much our feet hurt 🙈 did a little bit of shopping in the city & then made our way to have afternoon tea. The venue was stunning, we went to cloud 23 which had incredible views. The afternoon tea itself was delicious too! 

Literally we did soooo much in a small amount of time, but we had such a good girly getaway!! 

Beauty; ombré brows to die for 💁🏽💞

I cannot believe I have been lucky enough to have my brows done by the beautiful Laura! So overwhelmed that she’s gifted me these stunning ombré brows. This procedure usually costs £325.

Laurella beauty specialises in eyebrows. Every single brow treatment that she does is completed to absolute perfection. I used to go to Laura a few years ago & I have seen nothing but consistency from her. She is still the brow queen to me! The thing that I found best is that she will not start your treatment or even end your treatment until you are completely 100% happy with your brows. She puts you at complete ease & explains everything so clearly.

The treatments that you can get you will find on her website, but I’ll tell you a little bit about what I had ☺️ 

So what are ombré brows you ask?! 

They’re a semi permanent procedure which can last between 1-5 years depending on how you look after them & on the individual too. They are a tattoo but I can assure you they do not look like they are. 

You must must must follow the pre procedure advice & aftercare. Both as important as one another. It’s easy to do, trust me!

I really wish we took before photos of my eyebrows, but I honestly had barely anything as I overplucked them when I was younger 🙈 oops!  So the first three photos are after my first session. The last photo is from a few days ago! No makeup on my brows whatsoever. Just makeup applied on my face 😍

Lifestyle; it’s our anniversary! ❤️

This weekend we celebrated our 3 year anniversary. I mean 3 years…how?! How has the time gone that fast? 🙈  I still remember our first few dates like they were yesterday! 

We went out for dinner at one of my favourite restaurants, Market Bistro. It’s actually closing next week, which I am so gutted about so it was definitely a no brainer for where we were going to go for dinner. We had two courses, plus a little tasting dish to start & obviously I had some prosecco 🍾  

I love this restaurants sourdough bread…. Literally drooling just thinking about it. All homemade too. I can’t even explain to you how good this food is. So much flavour & so much thought goes into the presentation. Look at my panna cotta 😍 

I cooked for Sam & we had a lovely chilled evening in on the Saturday. We watched a film on Netflix & enjoyed some treats 🙄 probably too much, but oh well 💁🏽 if you haven’t watched it, we watched look away. Was actually quite good!

Look at my stunning flowers that Sam had delivered for me!! The florist is actually one of Sam’s friends & honestly she knows me so well. She gets my flowers spot on every time! They’re from Lily Jayne Florist. I bought Sam some cute date night idea cards from not on the high street & Lindt chocolates, which I hope he will share 😂

The website gives you a lot of pre made designs to choose from or you can create your own personalised one. I chose two of the pre made designs as I knew I’d have been there hours trying to create my own & these were just so me! They honestly have a design for everyone 😍 

It’s not just for phone cases though, they do laptop skins, iPads etc. I think I will definitely order an iPad one next as they’re so good. The quality of the product is amazing too, extremely well made. They were sent in beautiful packaging as well, which is very important to me. The shipping time was pretty fast too. IN MY PARCEL

I received 4 sections in this box. The for now, for you, for night & for later. Honestly set out beautifully & spot on! I love the little bag that the now section came in. Definitely will be reusing that 😍

For now was a mixture of sanitary towels, some smaller than others. I used these this month when I had my period & honestly was pleasantly surprised. I was a little dubious as I always tend to buy the same brand of sanitary towels. But these were actually really good! 

For you was filled with goodies that you want when it’s that time of the month. All the things you crave & the things your skin needs at this point. It was filled with some really good brands, some that I use regularly too.

The section for night was more sanitary towels that were slightly more ‘heavy duty’ 😂 you know? A bit bigger for bedtime basically. And the for later section, was just more sanitary towels to get you through your period.

They do have boxes with tampons in too & some that do a mixture of both! I would highly recommend this subscription box. In my opinion most people would spend the same amount each time they have their period on all of these things.

Travel; Rhodes June 2019 🌴☀️

OH MY GOD ITS BEEN MONTHS BUT I AM BAAAACK!!! 

We booked this holiday way back in May 2018 as we weren’t going away in 2018 & I wanted something to look forward to. 

We booked to go back to the same place in Rhodes that we went to in 2017. We loved it so much & there was a beautiful restaurant nearby that I was itching to visit again! We stayed in a hotel called Rhodos Horizon Resort. The staff are super friendly & the hotel itself is really clean & in a beautiful location with stunning views.

I found that this time I wasn’t as good at sitting & doing nothing so we did do a bit more exploring this time around. One day we walked all around Rhodes town, which is where we stayed. Another day we walked into the next little town, Ialysos & played some mini golf. I don’t know about you, but I just love mini golf 😂 I’m terrible at it though. It’s safe to say that Sam won! 

I did get to go back to the beautiful restaurant there too, Cavo Italiano, which is so good. It’s beautiful, the food tastes amazing & it’s such good value for money too! We stayed & had some drinks in the cocktail bar too, Cavo Tango. We did also have some shisha haha….. We’re not smokers at all but thought we’d have some fun before we get old 😂

This time we ate in the a la carte restaurant twice. We even tipped the waiter one night 😂 Sam was a little drunk I might add 🙈 it’s just nice to be served your dinner & take your time, rather than the buffet every night. I did also find some cats too, so they obviously shared my dinner 🙄  but I would highly recommend it if you stay at this hotel, it’s lovely. 

We also spent more time at the beach this year, rather than by the pool. The beach bar was super cute & we added to the cutest little rock display.

Have you ever been to Rhodes? I adore Greece but I’d love your suggestions of where we should go next. Are you going away this year?

Lifestyle; for lent I am giving up….

A bit of a different one here. I’ve decided I am not going to give up chocolate or sugar etc.. you know the usual things. I have decided I am going to give up 5lbs. Yes 5lbs in weight, not money. 

I am really trying to meet my goal weight target & I thought what a brilliant way to try to motivate myself! In January I gave up alcohol for dry January & managed to lose 5lbs so easily… I clearly love a glass of gin 🙄🙈 but now I am back on the alcohol & trying to budge the remaining 5lbs.

So far I have decided to up my exercise routine. I’m now going to the gym first thing in the morning before work. The days I don’t have to get up early for work (or even go to work) I will be aiming for 10 000 steps! 

If anyone knows of any yummy snacks or ideas on making them then please let me know! Food is my downside 😩 I just love eating!

Lifestyle; Oliver is finally here… & we’re his company 🐱💞

I have been waiting sooo long to get this little boy! I am extremely happy. It’s been a year now since my Lilli died & I miss her so much still, even to this day. But I am hoping now that I can give my love to another little furry baby it will help me. He’s called Oliver, his birthday is 3rd January 2019 & he is called Oliver because I loved the film Oliver & company when I was little girl 💙 (I say loved I still do)

I bought him the nicest bowls from Babylion HomeDecor on etsy, where I bought our tea & coffee jars from. Do you love them? I made sure they matched the kitchen too.. Duh! 

His little bed, the bag I brought him home in & food bowl mat are from Amazon 😍
