Beauty; ombré brows to die for 💁🏽💞

I cannot believe I have been lucky enough to have my brows done by the beautiful Laura! So overwhelmed that she’s gifted me these stunning ombré brows. This procedure usually costs £325.

Laurella beauty specialises in eyebrows. Every single brow treatment that she does is completed to absolute perfection. I used to go to Laura a few years ago & I have seen nothing but consistency from her. She is still the brow queen to me! The thing that I found best is that she will not start your treatment or even end your treatment until you are completely 100% happy with your brows. She puts you at complete ease & explains everything so clearly.

The treatments that you can get you will find on her website, but I’ll tell you a little bit about what I had ☺️ 

So what are ombré brows you ask?! 

They’re a semi permanent procedure which can last between 1-5 years depending on how you look after them & on the individual too. They are a tattoo but I can assure you they do not look like they are. 

You must must must follow the pre procedure advice & aftercare. Both as important as one another. It’s easy to do, trust me!

I really wish we took before photos of my eyebrows, but I honestly had barely anything as I overplucked them when I was younger 🙈 oops!  So the first three photos are after my first session. The last photo is from a few days ago! No makeup on my brows whatsoever. Just makeup applied on my face 😍

Thankyou so much to pink parcel for gifting me this fabulous box! Who are/what is pink parcel you ask? It’s a subscription box company who are trying to banish any taboos based around your period & help to teach people about periods in an honest way. The box includes products to get you through that dreaded time of the month. Unlike some other subscription boxes, you can cancel anytime too. I have to say, I found this box an absolute life changer this month.

IN MY PARCEL

I received 4 sections in this box. The for now, for you, for night & for later. Honestly set out beautifully & spot on! I love the little bag that the now section came in. Definitely will be reusing that 😍

For now was a mixture of sanitary towels, some smaller than others. I used these this month when I had my period & honestly was pleasantly surprised. I was a little dubious as I always tend to buy the same brand of sanitary towels. But these were actually really good! 

For you was filled with goodies that you want when it’s that time of the month. All the things you crave & the things your skin needs at this point. It was filled with some really good brands, some that I use regularly too.

The section for night was more sanitary towels that were slightly more ‘heavy duty’ 😂 you know? A bit bigger for bedtime basically. And the for later section, was just more sanitary towels to get you through your period.

They do have boxes with tampons in too & some that do a mixture of both! I would highly recommend this subscription box. In my opinion most people would spend the same amount each time they have their period on all of these things.

Beauty; colourful eye look 🎨

This is completely different for me as usually I like to wear quite heavy eyeliner. I loved doing this look though. I think it makes my eye colour really stand out! 

I used revolution beauty eyeshadow palette Petra in the shade canary for the yellow. I used this on the inner corners of my eyes & my water line. I then used the mermaids forever palette, again revolution makeup, to get the purples & blues! These palettes are amazing. They’re so cheap & for the price they’re pretty pigmented. Highly recommend these.

I use a mixture of products on my brows. I like to line them with nyx microbrow pencil, then use benefit cosmetics ka-brow to fill them in! 

My foundation is always rimmel! This is using wake me up. It’s my fake tan foundation 😂 please tell me other people have specific one for when they’ve fake tanned too?  

To finish the look my highlighter is makeup revolution, again 😉 & my lipstick is a matte pencil from Lord & berry! My lashes are prima lashes & they’re so good. I think I’ve reused them at least 4 times now 💁🏽😍

Back with the makeup looks for you all. You can ignore the caption, I didn’t use 3 makeup brushes, probably more like 6/7… I was just trying to be funny 🙄😂 did it work?

• Makeup revolution reloaded eyeshadow palette
• Revolution pro entranced palette shade beguile 
• Rimmel exaggerate liquid eyeliner 

I really think these shades are so warming! Don’t you? I love the brown lips with the orange & gold tones. It keeps the look warm & compliments my skin tone. 

I’m getting much better at ‘baking’ too. It really is a must for under your eyes! It makes them look so much more flawless. I use real techniques sponges for doing that. Do you bake your makeup? 

One thing I need to learn is how to do winged liner. I am awful at it. I feel like it would make my makeup looks look so much better! Winged liner helps you shape your eyes & finish your eyeshadow. Plus it just looks super glam too 💁🏽

Lifestyle; girly secret santa 🎅🏽🎁

Waaaay back in March I set up a whatsapp group of girls who literally just wanted to talk about girly things & life! It’s still going strong to this day (a few people have left but sometimes it’s just too much to keep up. We do still support each other on insta though) so we decided to do secret Santa between us all! 

Lydia kindly set it up for us, thaaaanks, & we had a £10 budget. 

So this is what I received from my secret Santa! I cannot Thankyou enough for all of these goodies! So so kind! I think Sarah was going down the flat lay route for me 💁🏽 she knows me well.

I decided to take some time to do my makeup on Christmas Eve. I very rarely make much of an effort in the week. Usually I just cover up my bags & dark circles 😂 

So let me tell you what I used;

• Benefit roller lash mascara
• Dior undercover foundation shade 024  
• Bella Pierre banana setting powder
• Benefit ka brow shade 3
• Gerard cosmetics matte liquid lipstick in shade ecstasy
• Primalash lashes in D11

Because I hadn’t fake tanned for a few days I thought I’d do a lighter/brighter look as I  didn’t want to look too washed out. I applied my makeup with spectrum makeup brushes. They’re my favourites. I’ve also used makeup revolution highlighter on my nose & on the inner corners of my eyes.

I think pinks & purples really bring out the green in my eyes!

Blogmas Day 20; bubblet advent calendar 🛁

I looove bubblet cosmetics & I love bubble baths.. winner winner. Everything I have bought from them has been soooo good. Their scents are amazing & actually last, even when they’re in the bath. I was so excited to open this calendar. Just look at the packaging 😍

I love how quirky their products are. I mean little tea bags?! Who would have thought of this? 

This calendar was super generous. I was so pleased with all of the mini skincare products too. I’ve already tried a few of these so I know I love them & it’s keeping me stocked up for a little longer.

Blogmas Day 17; my Christmas wish list 🎁

This year I’m not asking for a lot at all! Literally just wanting hair products & wine 😂 I am easily pleased… Also slippers as my feet are getting cold 🙄😂 so here’s a little wish list of what I have asked for… Just so you know I don’t expect all of these things, one will do (the last one 😉)

• PERFUME

I love Hugo boss. By far my favourite perfumes! Or I really want to try the missguided ones as I had a sample in my order once & I fell in love with it. 

• SLIPPERS

I have some super cute great toe post ones from Matalan at the minute which are brilliant for summer. But the winter… I really need something a bit warmer. I’m in love with the slipper boot style, I always have been! 

• HAIR PRODUCTS

It might sound silly, but when I say I ask for shampoo, I genuinely mean it. I love to have a huuuuge stash of shampoo’s and conditioners. I like to have a few different ones a week as I try to avoid shampoo build up. 

• ALCOHOL 

My favourite wines or bottles of prosecco will do me 💁🏽 throw a bit of gin in there too & I am well away! 

LAST BUT NOT LEAST! I want a kitten 😩😩😩  Sam won’t give in & it’s driving me mad. I am literally asking daily now, when will he give in & let us get one? 🙊 so look at the card he got me…

Blogmas Day 11; Revolution advent calendar 💄

I bought this for myself way back in September, yes I am that sad. But superdrug had a great deal on quidco for cashback! I’m all about getting some money back or saving a few ££’s here & there. 

How stunning is this?! I paid £30… Now to some that sounds a lot, but trust me it is a bargain. It should have been £50 so it was a great saving! Also yes I did open it early, but I was just a little bit too excited 😍😍 so who wants to see some of the bits I got?! 

Soooo many lipsticks, honestly I am in heaven here. Lipsticks are by far by favourite products to use. The shades are so wintery as well. Absolutely perfect! I am loving all of the highlighters, bronzers & blushes in this too.

Blogmas Day 5; Red Lipstick Guide 💋💄

To me, lipstick makes an outfit complete. In winter red is the go to colour. Well in my opinion anyway 💁🏽 

I have waaaay too many red lipsticks, pencils & liquid lipsticks. But you know what, at least I know I have a shade to suit every occasion 😂 plus we all have a favourite one don’t we?! 

So let’s think about what shade is best for you?! I’ll tell one of the ways I decide.. My hair colour & skin tone! If my hair is light & my skin is light (as in I have fake tanned or got a natural tan) then I would use a deeper red shade. If my hair is light & I have fake tanned then I could use any! If my hair is dark & my skin is light then I’d wear a lovely bold bright red. And if my hair is dark & I have fake tanned I use a more plumb’y, deep, dark shade. Does that make sense? 😂 

These are just some of my collection… I couldn’t show you them all or we’d be here until Christmas 😜 ha ha!
