Beauty; ombrΓ© brows to die for πŸ’πŸ½πŸ’ž

I cannot believe I have been lucky enough to have my brows done by the beautiful Laura! So overwhelmed that she’s gifted me these stunning ombrΓ© brows. This procedure usually costs Β£325.

Laurella beauty specialises in eyebrows. Every single brow treatment that she does is completed to absolute perfection. I used to go to Laura a few years ago & I have seen nothing but consistency from her. She is still the brow queen to me! The thing that I found best is that she will not start your treatment or even end your treatment until you are completely 100% happy with your brows. She puts you at complete ease & explains everything so clearly.

Look at how pretty her at home salon is! 😍😍

The treatments that you can get you will find on her website, but I’ll tell you a little bit about what I had ☺️

So what are ombrΓ© brows you ask?!

They’re a semi permanent procedure which can last between 1-5 years depending on how you look after them & on the individual too. They are a tattoo but I can assure you they do not look like they are.

You must must must follow the pre procedure advice & aftercare. Both as important as one another. It’s easy to do, trust me!

I really wish we took before photos of my eyebrows, but I honestly had barely anything as I overplucked them when I was younger πŸ™ˆ oops!  So the first three photos are after my first session. The last photo is from a few days ago! No makeup on my brows whatsoever. Just makeup applied on my face 😍

Just another quick Thankyou to Laura for making me more confident to go out of the house without makeup now! Make sure if you’re local you go see her for your brows πŸ’πŸ½

Beauty; colourful eye look 🎨

This is completely different for me as usually I like to wear quite heavy eyeliner. I loved doing this look though. I think it makes my eye colour really stand out!

I used revolution beauty eyeshadow palette Petra in the shade canary for the yellow. I used this on the inner corners of my eyes & my water line. I then used the mermaids forever palette, again revolution makeup, to get the purples & blues! These palettes are amazing. They’re so cheap & for the price they’re pretty pigmented. Highly recommend these.

I use a mixture of products on my brows. I like to line them with nyx microbrow pencil, then use benefit cosmetics ka-brow to fill them in!

My foundation is always rimmel! This is using wake me up. It’s my fake tan foundation πŸ˜‚ please tell me other people have specific one for when they’ve fake tanned too?

To finish the look my highlighter is makeup revolution, again πŸ˜‰ & my lipstick is a matte pencil from Lord & berry! My lashes are prima lashes & they’re so good. I think I’ve reused them at least 4 times now πŸ’πŸ½πŸ˜

What do you think?

Beauty; gold-y looks & the three makeup brushes πŸ’‹πŸ’„

Back with the makeup looks for you all. You can ignore the caption, I didn’t use 3 makeup brushes, probably more like 6/7… I was just trying to be funny πŸ™„πŸ˜‚ did it work?

For this look I used;

  • Nyx microbrow pencil in brunette
  • Benefit kabrow in shade 3.5
  • Rimmel wake me up foundation in shade soft beige
  • Beauty kitchen primer
  • Lashes are primalash in D11
  • Bella Pierre highlighter
  • Makeup revolution blush in shade bloom
  • Gerard cosmetics liquid lipstick in shade 1995
  • Benefit roller lash mascara
  • Bella Pierre banana setting powder
  • Makeup revolution reloaded eyeshadow palette
  • Revolution pro entranced palette shade beguile
  • Rimmel exaggerate liquid eyeliner

I really think these shades are so warming! Don’t you? I love the brown lips with the orange & gold tones. It keeps the look warm & compliments my skin tone.

I’m getting much better at ‘baking’ too. It really is a must for under your eyes! It makes them look so much more flawless. I use real techniques sponges for doing that. Do you bake your makeup?

One thing I need to learn is how to do winged liner. I am awful at it. I feel like it would make my makeup looks look so much better! Winged liner helps you shape your eyes & finish your eyeshadow. Plus it just looks super glam too πŸ’πŸ½

What’s your favourite part of putting makeup on?

Lifestyle; girly secret santa πŸŽ…πŸ½πŸŽ

Waaaay back in March I set up a whatsapp group of girls who literally just wanted to talk about girly things & life! It’s still going strong to this day (a few people have left but sometimes it’s just too much to keep up. We do still support each other on insta though) so we decided to do secret Santa between us all!

Lydia kindly set it up for us, thaaaanks, & we had a Β£10 budget.

So this is what I received from my secret Santa! I cannot Thankyou enough for all of these goodies! So so kind! I think Sarah was going down the flat lay route for me πŸ’πŸ½ she knows me well.

Okay, so this is who had who;

  • I had Paulina
  • Paulina had Ellie
  • Ellie had Sarah
  • Sarah had me
  • Emma had Lydia
  • Lydia had Jess
  • Jess had Kirstie
  • Kirstie had Emma
  • Bryony had Amanda
  • Amanda had Robyn
  • Robyn had summer
  • Summer had Sam
  • Sam had Lulu
  • Lulu had Bryony

As you can see there are a fair few of us πŸ™ˆ and this is just a few of the gifts that the girls received! We also sent out Christmas cards to each other as well 😍😍 honestly we’re so cute.

Do you like doing secret santa?

Beauty; pretty in pinks… & purples πŸ’πŸ½

I decided to take some time to do my makeup on Christmas Eve. I very rarely make much of an effort in the week. Usually I just cover up my bags & dark circles πŸ˜‚

So let me tell you what I used;

  • Anastasia Beverly Hills norvina palette shade love
  • Revolution pro entranced palette shade captivated
  • Benefit roller lash mascara
  • Dior undercover foundation shade 024
  • Bella Pierre banana setting powder
  • Benefit ka brow shade 3
  • Gerard cosmetics matte liquid lipstick in shade ecstasy
  • Primalash lashes in D11

Because I hadn’t fake tanned for a few days I thought I’d do a lighter/brighter look as I  didn’t want to look too washed out. I applied my makeup with spectrum makeup brushes. They’re my favourites. I’ve also used makeup revolution highlighter on my nose & on the inner corners of my eyes.

I think pinks & purples really bring out the green in my eyes!

Blogmas Day 11; Revolution advent calendar πŸ’„

I bought this for myself way back in September, yes I am that sad. But superdrug had a great deal on quidco for cashback! I’m all about getting some money back or saving a few ££’s here & there.

How stunning is this?! I paid Β£30… Now to some that sounds a lot, but trust me it is a bargain. It should have been Β£50 so it was a great saving! Also yes I did open it early, but I was just a little bit too excited 😍😍 so who wants to see some of the bits I got?!

Soooo many lipsticks, honestly I am in heaven here. Lipsticks are by far by favourite products to use. The shades are so wintery as well. Absolutely perfect! I am loving all of the highlighters, bronzers & blushes in this too.

Did you get a beauty advent calendar this year?

Beauty; I am officially a #skinfluencer πŸ’ž

If you’re a beauty & skincare lover like me then you will know how exciting this is! So recently I was contacted by dermalogica on Instagram. They were so kind & invited me to be a #skinfluencer for them. I mean, they were thanking me? No dermalogica, thank you

I have received a few different brands in the post & they’ve all been amazing in their own way but this parcel was even delivered by DPD & I could change the delivery to suit me too?!

So on to the products. I was gifted 5 amazing products to try. I did use them as soon as they arrived too πŸ’πŸ½ even tested them on Sam as well. Don’t you also love how much they match our bathroom?! πŸ™„πŸ˜œ

I used the pre cleanse, special cleansing gel & the daily microfoliant to start with. I kid you not my skin felt amazing & super taught after using those. I then used them on Sam too, he didn’t enjoy it as much. He doesn’t see the point πŸ™ˆ men hey?

I would highly recommend these to anybody. Have you ever tried this brand?

Blogging; Meet Roxanne πŸŽ€

Roxanne is so lovely, a complete fashion & beauty guru. Her Twitter is full of motivational tweets! And we’re always talking about our pretty little thing hauls πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚

What made you decide to start blogging?

After being in the beauty industry for around ten years, I really wanted to start sharing my knowledge and experience with beauty. My aim has always been to help others with their beauty know-how. My blog is a place for people who love to learn new things and/or need a little guidance and I am keen to reach out to others that share my passion for beauty

Do you having a blogging niche? Or do you just write about whatever you enjoy?

My blog is mainly centred around beauty. Makeup, skincare, nails and hair being my main topics. But I occasionally like to blog about lifestyle stuff as well. This gives my readers a chance to get to me know better and really share my journey.

Who would you say are your blogging inspirations?

My biggest blog inspiration would be β€˜In The Frow’. I read her blog way before I even thought about starting mine. The things she has achieved are so inspiring and I love her drive. She motivates me everyday to be better!

How long have you been blogging?

I have only been blogging for 10 months. My blogs birthday is at the end of January, how exciting! I was doing other social media bits for quite a while before my blog launched.

What is your favourite social media platform for sharing your blog?

Although I have a love/hate relationship with it, I have to say Instagram. I really enjoy creating content and sharing it on there (even if Instagram doesn’t show it to anyone haha!)

Any tips for new bloggers?

Be yourself! Stand out from the crowd. Try not to compare yourself to others because that will just dishearten you. Instead use them as your inspiration and future goals. Learn from your mistakes and failures and don’t forget to enjoy it!

Thanks for the great tips! I didn’t realise you hadn’t been blogging for very long! You’re a natural πŸ’πŸ½  the nails I see you create are beautiful by the way too

Blogging; Meet Em πŸ’ž

‘Ohhh this is so cute! I love the idea!’ I think this is a brilliant opening line! Let’s all meet Em! Such a lovely girl ☺️

What made you decide to start blogging?

I decided to start blogging when I was 16 as a place to vent my emotions but quickly realised I just enjoyed writing and began to do reviews, looks and other posts!

Do you having a blogging niche? Or do you just write about whatever you enjoy?

I don’t really have a blogging niche! I write about what I like but over all I usually say I’m a lifestyle blogger – I post about fashion, travel, beauty, photography and Mental Health! I just write what comes to me, then I try let it fit into my blog!

Who would you say are your blogging inspirations?

I have so many! It all started with Zoella and Sprinkle of Glitter like many other girls my age, but now I love β€œblog about a latte”, Safe Haven Anonyous Letters, Vix Meldrew and so many more!!!! Can I just give you my twitter following list?

How long have you been blogging?

I’ve been blogging on and off since I was 16 but I made Pink Aesthetic on my current WordPress page back in March. It’s not perfect but it’s getting there!

What is your favourite social media platform for sharing your blog?

My favourite platform is definitely Twitter. I used to love Instagram but I find it hard to grow and the engagement isn’t as good as Twitter. Plus Twitter is like one big group chat!

Any tips for new bloggers?

Write about what you love. The rest will come. I tried to fit in to what other bloggers were doing, tried to keep up with how fast they were getting sponsored posts/paid work and in the end it took the fun from blogging! I was taking collabs with things that didn’t fit with my blog and it made me feel rubbish about promoting my place online. So I gave it up and started afresh after some time away. It’s now just a place for me, if more comes from it then great and if not, that’s okay too. So basically, as my friends say when I’m about to make another *cough* bad drunk decision: you do you babe!

I looove the way you’ve described Twitter as a group chat! That is brilliant! 😍 great tips for newbies, thanks for sharing lovely.

Blogging; Meet Pau πŸ’žΒ

Paulina is another girl I chat to daily so I’m so pleased you’ll all get to know her better too. She’s a Mexican beauty living in Scotland, so her Instagram feed is goals
What made you decide to start blogging?

So I decided to create my own blog because after years and years of reading other people’s blogs I just really wanted to have my own little creative space in the internet. I also wanted to share my opinions, reviews and ideas about all the things that I love!
Do you having a blogging niche? Or do you just write about whatever you enjoy?

I don’t think I have a niche as theres a lot of things I love to talk about! I usually blog about fashion, makeup, skincare products and lifestyle things like travel and I want to start writing fitness posts as well as this is a massive part of my life. And of course I have been writing so much wedding content as I’m getting married in December this year
Who would you say are your blogging inspirations?

I absolutely love Victoria from inthefrow she’s just wow incredible and such an inspiration as she has managed to grow her brand into a massive thing! Also love Lydia elise millen
How long have you been blogging?

Not too long, started in 2017 and I’m not going to lie I haven’t been blogging as much recently as life just gets in the way but I absolutely love it!
What is your favourite social media platform for sharing your blog?

I use Twitter lots and just share it with my other blogger friends as well!

Any tips for new bloggers?

Just write about whatever you want and don’t compare yourself with anyone else! It’s all about having fun and being creative ❀

Great tips Pau ☺️ I didn’t realise you hadn’t been blogging for long! I definitely think you should do some fitness posts too
