Angel party; Thankyou Elle 👼🏽💗

Thankyou so much for the fabulous party Elle, you did amazingly. I decided to take the plunge & go …

I met so many fabulous people that day, it was great to get to know new people  💁🏽 shoutout to Nicola who met me at kings cross, such a nice girl! We made our way to Bills beforehand for brunch… When our uber finally found us 😂  & it was nice to sit & get to know each other. It was like we had known each other for ages. Yet we really hadn’t even spoken before ✌🏽️

As we arrived we had to queue for about 15 minutes to get in, but it was all done so smoothly! It was held at the Grand Connaught rooms in London, it was so pretty. Perfect for the party! Elle had put on food, sweet stalls, glitter makeup, a dj & videographer. It must have took a lot of planning. The sweets were so yum, I did promise Sam I’d share some… Yeah that didn’t happen! 🍬 sorry babe! 

The music was perfect, it really helped to get a good atmosphere going. The lovely lady who was doing the glitter makeup, bless her, she must have been so tired 🙈 but she kept on smiling. I got to meet some other fabulous YouTube ladies too, but I’m afraid I didn’t take pictures with everyone! It was so good to get to meet so many other lovely girls ☺️ shoutout to those girls who lift others up. Plus the girls who created a group chat so we all had someone to get to know. The group chat is still going strong too 👯

I had a VIP ticket, so I got a goodie bag! 🙊 this was literally jam packed with stuff! I had such a good day, I love chatting with new people. It was nice that everyone was so alike as well, all having similar interests! I cannot wait for the next one ☺️😍

Influenster; rimmel voxbox 💄💋

Receiving this box in the post the other weekend literally made me so happy! All of these products were sent to me complimentary for testing purposes thanks to influenster & rimmel

I’ve recently had my fake nails off & decided that I won’t have them done again, so this really did arrive at the best time 😍💁🏽  so far I have used two of the colours & the top coat. Yes they chipped, but only after about 3/4 days & to be fair I type a lot at work so that probably doesn’t help! But the shades are bloody beautiful. If you know me, then you know these are very me kind of colours.

The lipsticks are beautiful! I loved creating an ombré look with these as they all compliment each other so well 💋  I love that they’re long lasting but they also come off quite easily, like you don’t have to scrub them off at the end of the day 🙌🏽 life changing 😂 they do taste quite weird though… not that I eat my lipsticks 🙄 but y’know….

Valentine’s Day; 2018 🌹♥️

This year Sam & myself decided not to do presents, just cards! So I got him a super me sort of card 💁🏽 & he got me one that was completely perfect for me… 🐶🐶

We also decided to stay in on Valentine’s Day itself, so I cooked for us! 😋 I decided to do a sort of paella. Sam’s a bit of a seafood & fish lover, so I knew I wouldn’t go wrong with this meal! We then went to the gym still, as we always do on a Wednesday 💪🏽  & it was sooo quiet 👌🏽

It was Sam’s turn to choose where we went out this year, he originally chose the lifeboat at thornham, but we had an email come through for prezzo & the deal was too good to turn down. Prezzo was where we had our first date (awww…) 💁🏽💞   We had 3 courses & a bottle of prosecco. I should say I had a bottle of prosecco really 🙄😂  thought I’d show you my outfit too 🙊

Giving blood; my experience 💉📆

I have wanted to give blood for quite a while. I think I got put off trying again after I was denied the first time I tried. What really made me book this time was the news of a school friend getting ill. She had over 200 different bloods given to her whilst she was in hospital in a 2 week period. To me, that is a lot. That shows how much we need to be donating. *I am in no way telling people to give blood nor am I trying to be pushy! 

I booked to go with my mum as I had had bad experiences with collapsing & fitting whilst I was ill once. So I didn’t want to go alone. We made sure we had a good lunch beforehand & drank plenty as we were advised. We did go to prezzo… 🙄😂 

Anywho, when we got there we had quite a long wait & I started to get a little bit nervous as you can literally see everyone giving. This obviously might be different wherever you go. I was watching people fidgeting away & it made me feel even worse. I thought they must be so uncomfortable & fed up. Does it really take that long?! 

It was my turn after a 45 minute wait… They asked me a lot of questions before & made sure my iron levels were fine. This is a little finger prick & I’m not lying… That was the most painful part 🙈  haha! They made sure I was comfy & explained everything. I ended up sitting next to my mum so we decided to make it a race… She had already started before me! They said that you should tense your bum cheeks, cross your legs & kick them about. Also to keep moving your hand so the blood flows better! So those people weren’t uncomfortable…. 

It took my mum 8 minutes to give, & me, just 6. Wooohoo I won! Within a few days I had a text to say my sample was good & found out my blood type. Then another couple of days later I received a text to say where my blood had been donated to. 

I will definitely be doing this again. I promise you it is so much easier than you might think!  Have you ever given?

Latest in beauty; cosmopolitan box 📦💋

I need to start by saying I would have happily paid full price for this box! I paid £15 in their winter sale & it should have been £25… 

The eylure lashes were bloody beautiful.. I did end up ruining them though which I was gutted about, but I think I have a new favourite no. now! I normally had 101 or 107! 😍 I’ve also replaced my old beauty blender sponge with this one. I love the shape of this one. I much prefer a flat edge! 

Two sleek products, they’re spoiling us with this box. The eyeshadow palette has such beautiful shades, it is very small though so you won’t get much use out of it! The red matte lipstick is a lovely colour. I have only swatched it so far, but it might be my valentines lipstick this year 💁🏽💋

The little glitter pots may get used maybe for an extravagant makeup look, or a festival… The face wipes are fab, do the trick perfectly 👌🏼 & work well with sensitive skin. 

So so many products in this box, I think it was an absolute bargain! I mean £15 & it includes st tropez… You can’t beat that can you?!

Lifestyle; dogs are for life 🐶💞

As most of you are aware I received awful news about my best friend Lilli. I’ve decided these last few weeks that I had with her she was going to be totally spoiled. Not that she hasn’t been all her life… 😂😂 

She has had all the sweets you can bloody imagine!! My friends have even been bringing her sweets when they’ve been round to see me … Including some scooby snacks… How cute! 

I recently started her on some food from tails.com as it’s designed specifically to your dog. You fill out a questionnaire & they design it for you. Plus how cute is the packaging?! & it has her name on it too!! I got her dry food & some wet as she had never had it before☺️ 

I was going to also spoil her on Valentine’s Day too, as I have to say I do love her more than bloody life itself! I got her a card & balloon, plus some pretty flowers… Obviously I got her lilies as they’re my favourite… Hence why that’s her name 💁🏽 I think you must be catching on now 🐶💐 it was too late though… At least she got her card in time! Do you think she loves it?!

Bloggermail; Dr Botanicals 🌹🙌🏽

I was recently gifted this beauty of a product from dr botanicals. I have tried it before as I’d received it in my look fantastic advent calendar over Christmas. So I knew I loved it already! 😍 

This honestly is a brilliant product. It smells absolutely beautiful! The scent isn’t too strong as sometimes rose scented things can be overpowering! Every time I use this I use it like a toner… So I cleanse my skin first & I still use a night cream afterwards. I do have to get Sam to smell how good my face smells after using it too though… 🙄😂 poor boy! 

How beautiful is the packaging? I love things that look ‘natural’ 🍃 this product is well worth the hype. Trust me! I have super sensitive skin as well & this never causes me any problems. It’s packed with so many goodies vitamin c & vitamin a – to help stimulate collagen & to even skin tone. Plus almond oil to help nourish & brighten! You couldn’t say no to all of that!

Mini haul; look fantastic 💆🏽💫

Lookfantastic is one of my fav places to buy beauty products from. I receive their beauty box monthly so it has introduced me to some brilliant brands!! Thanks to this I have found these fab products…

Regenerate toothpaste; I bloody love this product!! 😃 It’s supposed to help repair the enamel on your teeth, which will in turn help to whiten & brigten teeth! I have had a few tubes of this now & I am completely hooked. I urge anybody to give it a try! It has a minty flavour, but it’s not overly strong. I recently purchased it for £8.

Garnier makeup remover; I bought a few bottles of this as it was on offer & I am pleased that I did. *You have to give it a good shake before you use it to mix the product together* it’s so gentle on your skin & I need that as mine is quite sensitive! I love it because it actually does remove your eye makeup really well 🙌🏽 it is a bit more oily than just water, so be careful on different skin types.

Grow gorgeous scalp detox; now apologies if anyone I know is reading this as I have been banging on about it for weeks now! It honestly works… I have had some major hair growth whilst using this & I love their packaging. 💆🏽 It’s to help your hair grow, but also to get rid of the build up of product that gets left in your scalp 👌🏽
